To facilitate a climate and culture where wellness, inclusion, diversity, engagement and belonging are fostered and valued.
Encourage opportunities for dialogue as a part of our schools' priorities and strategic plan, structured programming, centered around diversity understanding and dialogue. Continued and ongoing integration of initiatives with curricular engagement, innovative programming, focused on engagement and belonging for faculty, staff and students. Steps include: building a website centered around our efforts that is inclusive of our mission statement as well as resource materials for faculty, staff and students. Advocating for dedicated DEI and belonging team that would not only support but also supplement the work of the Senior Associate Dean for DEI. Have a annual symposium centered around DEI and belonging.
