Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Describe how NIH R25 SEPA grants can be used as a tool to introduce the field of pharmacy to middle and high school students and to mentor youth.
  • Apply key strategies for developing a successful NIH R25 SEPA proposal.
This mini session will feature a panel of two National Institutes of Health (NIH) R25 Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) grantees. The panelists will discuss: 1) how they utilize the SEPA Grant at their respective Schools of Pharmacy as an innovative tool in pharmacy education and mentoring youth, and 2) tips on writing a successful R25 grant proposal.
