Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Describe how artificial intelligence (AI) can be implemented for competency assessment for evaluating practice readiness.
  • Discuss approaches using AI that allow students to undertake self-assessment and practice clinical skills within pharmacy curricula.
  • Identify how AI can be used to improve student feedback and improve simulation assessment.
This session explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enhanced competency assessment for evaluating practice readiness, focusing on sharing current advancements in AI-enhanced simulation. We will introduce approaches using AI that allows students to undertake self-assessment and practice clinical skills. Drawing perspectives from an international collaboration, pharmacy educators will gain insights into a range of approaches that could support faculty in leveraging AI-driven simulation assessments.
