Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Identify an admissions-related evaluation question relevant to their institution or stakeholders.
  • Determine appropriate data sources and analytic strategies that help answer their admissions-related question.
Student admissions currently hold many stakeholders’ interests with groups seeking analytics to inform their academic and admissions questions. Our session will showcase how we used stakeholder questions to drive the analysis and visualization of our admissions data culminating in dashboards and templates, which allowed users to explore data independently and foster data curiosity. Participants will identify an admissions-related evaluation question relevant to their institution and determine appropriate data sources and analytic strategies.
