Julie Reed, PhD, MSSW is the Student Learning Director and PharmD advisor at UCSF’s School of Pharmacy. She provides individualized guidance for students’ holistic development, and consults with faculty on related curricular and policy matters. She has also led the design and implementation of programming on critical reflection and active learning mindsets, directs the Peer Tutoring program, and is part of the resilience education teaching team. In addition to consulting across university, nonprofit and government organizations, she was a senior leader in the public service centers at Stanford University, the University of San Francisco, and Gettysburg College, where she was awarded federal and private funding to develop model community-based learning initiatives.
