Dr. Shannan Takhar, PharmD, BCACP is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at UCSF School of Pharmacy, and an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist practicing in the solid organ transplant clinic at UC Davis Health. She received her PharmD from UCSF School of Pharmacy in 2018. She went on to complete her PGY1 and PGY2 residencies in ambulatory care at UC Davis Health. Following completion of her ambulatory care PGY2, she accepted a position with UCDH specialty pharmacy team, initially focusing on pulmonology and then transitioning to solid organ transplant. In January of 2023, Dr. Takhar started her current faculty position with UCSF School of Pharmacy where she primarily supports the experiential education team and continues to practice in the solid organ transplant clinic two days a week.
