Dr. Kelsey Frederick is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Pharmacy within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science and the Office of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Dr. Frederick currently directs the Pharmacist Primary Care Certificate Training Program offered through the Office of CPD and also coordinates the Introduction to Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience in partnership with a nationwide MTM telehealth vendor. She is a graduate of Auburn University located in Auburn, Alabama, where she also received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Harrison College of Pharmacy. Following graduation, Dr. Frederick completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency with Kroger Health and UTHSC in Nashville, Tennessee. She then went on to complete an Academic Community Pharmacy Fellowship at UTHSC College of Pharmacy prior to joining the College in her current role as faculty.
