Aleda M. H. Chen, PharmD, PhD, FAPhA, serves as the Associate Dean of Assessment and Research and a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Cedarville School of Pharmacy. Dr. Chen has an active research program focused on the social and behavioral aspects of pharmacy, with a focus on motivational interviewing, vaccine hesitancy, and student education in the affective domain. She has numerous funded grants. Dr. Chen is actively involved with the pharmacy profession, including chairing and serving on several national pharmacy organization committees with APhA and AACP, including the 2023-2024 Chair of the AACP SAS Section and Vice Chair of the AACP Academic Affairs Committee. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy journal.
