Jennifer M. Trujillo is a professor at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Aurora, Colorado. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at the University of Arizona and completed her pharmacy practice residency at Boston Medical Center. She is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and advanced diabetes manager as well as a certified diabetes care and education specialist. She is a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Dr. Trujillo currently practices at the University of Colorado Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes Practice. She is an associate editor of Diabetes Spectrum, and serves on the editorial board of Pharmacotherapy. She has been actively engaged in AACP for over two decades, most recently serving as the Council of Faculties Chair. She has been involved with multiple research projects as a primary investigator or coinvestigator, and has had numerous speaking engagements at the national and local level. She has published several book chapters and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles in the fields of diabetes endocrinology and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
