Nick Denton, PhD is a senior lecturer of the Ohio State Univeristy's College of Pharmacy, where he teaches primarily pre-PharmD students in pharmaceutical science labs, introduction to pharmacuetical science research, cancer research, and drug use in American culture general education writing courses. His research team's interests include creating authentic learning experiences that promote inquiry, teamwork, professional identity formation, self-directed learning, research literacy, cultural competency and equitable teaching to help students progress into the innovative and diverse healthcare professional workforce necessary to further healthcare. As a senior affilitate to OSU's Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning, Dr. Denton designs university-wide programming to help instructors incorporate evidence-based teaching and education research into their course design.
