Veronica Young, PharmD, MPH, FNAP is the Founding Director of The University of Texas at Austin Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education, where she leads institutional initiatives in education, practice, and scholarship that advances collaborative person-centered care and population health. Under her leadership, UT Austin is a founding member of the statewide Texas IPE Consortium and serves as an instiutional host for the national T3 Train-the Trainer Interprofessional Team Development Program, delivered in collaboration with the National T3 Advisory Board and the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. Dr. Young is also Clinical Professor and Director of Interprofessional Education and Community Engagement at the UT Austin College of Pharmacy. She is the faculty advisor for the PharmD/MPH concurrent degree program. Her research focuses on interprofessional education and patient safety, with an emphasis on community engagement. She is a recipient of The University of Texas System Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award.
