Dr. Sleeper has been a member of the faculty at the TTUHSC Jerry H Hodge School of Pharmacy for 23 years. She is currently a Professor of Pharmacy Practice in Geriatrics and Senior Associate Dean of Curriculum, Assessment, and Accreditation. She received her PharmD from the University of Rhode Island and completed Residency training in Geriatric Pharmacotherapy at TTUHSC SOP. She is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. Among numerous publications, she is the co-editor of the textbook “Fundamentals of Geriatric Pharmacotherapy”. She has been part of the Sex and Gender Health Education curricular task force within the Laura W Bush Institute for Women’s Health since 2011 and has served on the executive planning committee for the 2020 and 2021 International Sex and Gender Health Education Summits, where she has participated as a co-developer of the proposed inter-professional core tenets for Sex and Gender Health Education.
