Dr. Callen is a professor and board certified pharmacotherapy specialist at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU). She received her Pharm.D. from SWOSU in 2001. Following graduation, she completed a PGY-1 residency at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada and a PGY-2 infectious diseases residency at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After completing residency training, she returned to SWOSU where she has been a faculty member since 2003. Dr. Callen spent the first 10 years of her career as a member of the SWOSU Department of Pharmacy Practice and served as the clinical pharmacy specialist for the family medicine residency program and hospitalist group at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 2013, she transitioned to teaching full-time in the SWOSU Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where her courses include infectious diseases and hospital pharmacy-related topics.
