Kristi W. Kelley, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP, CDCES, BC-ADM is a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy and is currently serving as Chair-Elect of AACP’s Pharmacy Practice Section. In addition to didactic teaching, service and scholarship, Dr. Kelley maintains a clinical practice with Continuity Clinics with Brookwood Baptist Health, Internal Medicine Residency Program in Birmingham, Alabama. She is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all pharmacy services related to patient care as well as precepting pharmacy students and residents in this setting. Since 2001, Dr. Kelley has established clinical pharmacy services in 3 outpatient internal medicine clinics.
Dr. Kelley earned both her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. She completed an ASHP-accredited Primary Care Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Kelley’s scholarship interests include diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and pharmacy education. She has published and presented on these topics at both the regional and national level.
