Gloria Grice, Pharm.D., BCPS, FNAP is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs & Professor of Pharmacy Practice at St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. Her main responsibilities include oversight of curriculum, assessment, interprofessional education, and accreditation. She graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and completed a residency in family medicine at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. She practiced in family medicine for five years and then transitioned to pharmacogenomic clinical research at Washington University. She then took an administrative position as the Director of Experiential Education for six years and subsequently served as the Interim Chair of the Department of Pharmacy practice for two years. Her academic and scholarly interests intersect with multiple publications and presentations in pharmacogenetic-guided anticoagulation, interprofessional education, professionalism, and patient-centered communication. She is an active member of AACP, currently serving as the Speaker of the House and member of the Board of Directors. She is a Fellow of the National Academies of Practice and serves on the Steering Committee for the Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. She is passionate about pharmacy education and empowering the collective voice of institutional members in making needed changes to advance the profession.
