Purdue University
Dr. Omolola (Lola) Adeoye-Olatunde, PharmD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Purdue University College of Pharmacy and holds leadership roles within the Center for Health Equity and Innovation (CHEqI) and the Community Health Workforce Development Institute (CHWDI). Dr. Adeoye-Olatunde initially sparked an interest in health equity while working as a pharmacy technician for more than 8 years at her father’s innovative independently owned community pharmacy. She applies theory-driven implementation science, community-engaged, and practice-based research approaches to her work. Dr. Adeoye-Olatunde is fervently committed to facilitating and sustaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce in pharmacy, research and academia. To this end, she makes significant contributions in this space both at local and national levels including leading initiatives through the Purdue College of Pharmacy Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the Indiana Pharmacist Association and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Graduate Education Recruitment and Diversity Committee. Dr. Adeoye-Olatunde graduated with a BS in Biology in 2013 from Morgan State University, the largest Historically Black College and University in Maryland. She earned her PharmD from MCPHS University in 2016 before completing her PGY1 community-based pharmacy residency at Kroger Pharmacy in 2017 and postdoctoral fellowship at Purdue University College of Pharmacy in 2020. During her postdoctoral fellowship, she received her MS in Health Services, Outcomes, and Policy.
