Dr. Audrey Kostrzewa, PharmD, MPH, BCPS is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy where she specializes in drug information and public health. She teaches courses such as Medical Literature Evaluation and Servant Leadership and Public Health, and oversees the school’s MPH dual degree program and bachelor’s degree in public health. She also practices as a Medication Utilization Pharmacist at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin as part of her faculty appointment. At practice, her team optimizes how medications are used within the health system. Dr. Kostrzewa focuses much of her practice time on ambulatory care, vaccines, and medication safety initiatives.
Dr. Kostrzewa received her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Iowa, completed a PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin, and is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Most of Dr. Kostrzewa’s professional service has been with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Drug Information and Library Science (DILS) Section as well as the American Public Health Association Pharmacy Section. Dr. Kostrzewa has a passion for evidence-based medicine and public health, and is excited to be serving as the DILS Section Chair-Elect this upcoming year.
