Dr. Mandy Jones, PharmD, MPAS, BCPS is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Lexington, KY. She provides instruction in diagnosis and its application to pharmacy practice, clinical and hands-on skills in patient assessment, physical examination, immunization, communication, and interprofessional education. She is a Fellow of the University’s Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education and is heavily involved in simulation development for interprofessional learning. Her scholarly interest areas include interprofessional education and collaborative practice, team-based medical error disclosure, and issues surrounding the advancement of pharmacy practice. Dr. Jones practiced as a physician assistant and clinical pharmacist for 12 years in Family Medicine at UK HealthCare and is currently a clinical pharmacy specialist in Emergency Medicine at UK HealthCare.
