Gina M. Prescott, Pharm.D., BCPS is a clinical associate professor at the University at Buffalo, School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Prescott is the global health director at her institution. She is also the current co-chair of the AACP Global Education SIG's outreach committee. Dr, Prescott provides inpatient general medicine clinical pharmacy services at a disproportionate care hospital, conducts a pharmacy health literacy program for refugees, and provides short-term global health experiences for student pharmacists. Dr. Prescott’s teaching focuses on social determinants of health, health disparities, and cultural competency. Her research interests and publications are in global health, health disparities and education.
