Justina Lipscomb graduated from Roseman University of Health Sciences – College of Pharmacy in Henderson, NV, in 2012. After moving to North Carolina and working for some time in both the retail and hospital pharmacy settings, she decided to pursue a general pharmacy residency. Dr. Lipscomb obtained a pharmacy PGY-1 certificate in 2017 from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Following that, she completed an internal medicine-focused PGY-2 residency at the South Texas Veteran Health Care System in San Antonio, TX.
She is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Texas (UT) at Austin - College of Pharmacy, Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at The UT Health San Antonio School of Medicine, and an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Her research passions include health disparities, interprofessional education, and cardiology.
