Education Specialist; Program Manager Integrated Patient Care Laboratory

Stacy King is the Program Manager for the Integrated Patient Care Laboratory and an Education Specialist in the division of Pharmacy Education and Innovation at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. She has served in her role for the past 8 years. Prior to joining the IPCaL teaching team, Stacy developed, coordinated, and instructed numerous pharmacy technician certification programs and adult education courses at the community college and career-technical level. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and completed pharmacy education at The Ohio State University and has been a Certified Pharmacy Technician for over 20 years. Stacy is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Studies at The Ohio State University. She is passionate about teaching adults and promoting intrinsic motivation and self-awareness within her students, particularly in the skills-based environment. She also values the importance of scholarly research and enjoys collaborating with faculty and staff on a variety of SoTL projects. Outside of the classroom, Stacy spends her time exploring nature with her family, friends, and pets and is an avid music lover.
