Kristin M. Janzen, PharmD, BCPS is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. After graduating from UT College of Pharmacy, she completed a combined PGY1 & 2 Pharmacotherapy residency at Butler University and Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN, where she stayed on faculty for a year prior to returning home to UT Austin. She currently practices at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas in Internal Medicine, where she precepts APPE students and residents on academic internal medicine rotations. She has been recognized for both didactic and experiential teaching and was awarded the College of Pharmacy Educator of the Year, the Austin-Temple-Waco Region Preceptor of the Year, and Wm. Arlyn Koesel Preceptor of the Year Awards. Her research and teaching interests focus on interprofessional education and core medicine disease states, such as pulmonology, cardiology, and diabetes.
