Jennifer (Jenn) A. Wilson, PharmD, BCACP, is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy and Department Chair at Wingate University School of Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD from Ohio Northern University. Upon graduation, she completed a post-graduate community pharmacy residency with Kerr Drug and UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Raleigh, NC. Following residency, Dr. Wilson completed a one-year academic fellowship at UNC in the pharmaceutical care lab. She joined the Wingate faculty in 2012. She is board certified in ambulatory care. At Wingate, she previously served as a clinical pharmacist at Community Health Services of Union County Free Medical Clinic and Director of Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences. She coordinates and teaches in several courses including self-care pharmacotherapy, pharmacy skills laboratory, therapeutic lifestyle changes, immunizations, and medication therapy management. She volunteers as a pharmacist with a local non-profit prescription program. She is active in the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists, American Pharmacist Association, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and the Nonprescription Medicines Academy. Within AACP, she has been a member of the Pharmacy Practice Section Membership Committee since 2014, and she has been active within the Self-Care Therapeutics/Nonprescription Medicine SIG since 2013, serving on various committees including the Programming and Nominating Committees, and recently serving as SIG chair. She is also a member of the Nonprescription Medicines Academy Steering Committee.
