Zach Woods, PharmD, BCACP, is an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at The Ohio State University. The son of two educators, teaching was always part of his professional destiny. A graduate of Ohio Northern University (ONU), Zach then pursued residency training at ONU with the HealthWise clinical services focusing on preventative care, community practice, and population health.
At Ohio State, Zach teaches both undergraduate and PharmD courses as a member of the college’s education and innovation division. Zach has been recognized as both an undergraduate and PharmD teacher of the year at Ohio State and regularly offers APPE and resident academic rotations to challenge learners within the world of academia. His professional interests include innovative teaching approaches, student affairs, and co-curricular outreach programs.
Outside of the classroom, he serves as the co-chair of OSU’s PharmD admissions committee and volunteers with HOBY, a national high school leadership organization.
