Lisa Hong, PharmD, BCPS, APh, NAP, is an Associate Professor and the Director of Interprofessional Education at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed PGY1 and PGY2 Internal Medicine pharmacy residencies at the University of Colorado Health and the University of Utah Health, respectively. Currently, Dr. Hong practices in Acute Internal Medicine and coordinates three courses, one of which is a capstone lab course emphasizing evidence-based practice. As the sole faculty member involved in the capstone lab course, she has incorporated the various aspects of academia within this capstone course into the residency teaching certificate program and trains up to 9 residents each year to assist with case development, key development, small group facilitation, writing of assessment questions, and grading.
