Dr. Sudip Das has over 30 years of experience in teaching and research in professional pharmacy and graduate programs in the U.S. and Canada. He has mentored many postdoctoral, graduate, and PharmD scholars and published over 150 research works, focusing on formulation development for poorly soluble drugs and non-viral gene therapy. His research has been funded by prestigious sources like NIH and PDA. Dr. Das has received awards such as the Distinguished Faculty Award from Butler University and the AACP Pharmaceutics Section Service Award. Actively involved in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) since 1994, he has held leadership roles including the inaugural chair of the AACP Council of Sections and a member of the AACP Board of Directors.
Dr. Alok Bhushan is Chair and Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jefferson College of Pharmacy, Thomas Jefferson University. His research focuses on cancer pharmacology, signal transduction, metabolism, and nanotechnology. He directs the MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences program and has previously coordinated the graduate program at Idaho State University (ISU). Dr. Bhushan has taught a wide range of courses and served in various leadership roles, including President of the Idaho Academy of Sciences. He is a long-standing member of AACP and has participated in multiple leadership groups. Dr. Bhushan holds degrees from the University of Delhi and Punjab Agricultural University and has completed post-doctoral fellowships at Johns Hopkins, MUSC, and the University of Vermont.
