Veronica Vernon, PharmD, is an Assistant Professor and Vice-Chair of the Pharmacy Practice Department at Butler University, where she coordinates and teaches the pharmacy law course. She graduated from Purdue University with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and subsequently completed her PGY1 and PGY2 in ambulatory care and education with Veteran Health Indiana. Dr. Vernon is passionate about advocacy and has led efforts to influence legislation and regulations in Indiana through the Indiana Pharmacy Association for the past several years. She actively engages her students in advocacy activities. Dr. Vernon was named the American Pharmacists Association 2021 Good Government Pharmacist of the Year and has received the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Ambulatory Care Practice and Research Network's Advocacy Award.
