Sandy Diec, PharmD, serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Translational Practice and Research at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD from the TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency at Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, Texas. As a member of the Skills Lab Team at the College, her primary classroom teaching role involves coordinating, facilitating, and developing pharmacy skill-based training and assessments integrated throughout the curriculum. Her research focuses on the scholarship of teaching and learning, with current interests in inquiry-based learning, instructional coaching, skills-based education, and authentic assessments.
