Marisella Guerrero, Pharm D., Associate Clinical Professor, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy, University of the Pacific. Faculty in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Teaching emphasis is on dispensing, compounding, calculations and social drivers of health. Founding member and faculty advisor to the school's White Coat For Black Lives Student Chapter. Chair of the school's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Trustee, Area 7, Manteca Unified School District.
Marisella received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific and over the years held positions in various areas of pharmacy practice including hospital, compounding, consulting, long-term care, and currently, in retail pharmacy. These various positions prepared her for her role as a professor in pharmacy practice, giving her the ability to draw from real-life examples for her teaching content and to provide valuable insight to her students into what a career in diferent areas of pharmacy practice entails.
Marisella is passionate about DEI and recognizes that it is essential to the work she does as a pharmacist, professor, and as a trustee for her local school district. In her free time she enjoys running, playing guitar, traveling, spending time with her kids, and taking her dog, Luna, for walks.
