Dr. Amy Henneman, PharmD, BCACP, BCPS, CDCES is an Associate Professor Pharmacology in the Thomas F. Frist Jr. College of Medicine, with dual appointment in the College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice at Belmont University in Nashville, TN where she maintains a clinical practice site in primary care at Neighborhood Health Clinic. She has been in academia since 2010 teaching in pharmacotherapy as well as various case based courses thorughout the pharmacy curriculum. Currently she is working to develop the pharmacology curriculum within the College of Medicine as well as an interprofessional service learning thread. Dr. Henneman has previously served as a PGY1 pharmacy residency program director from 2014 – 2020 and founding director of a PGY2 pharmacy ambulatory care residency from 2018 – 2020. She is current director of the Belmont Population Health and Academia fellowship program. Dr. Henneman has been active with AACP within the Pharmacy Practice section serving in various capacities. She has been Chair of the Pharmacy Practice Membership Committee and is the current chair of the Women's Faculty SIG.
