Sarah Lynch, PharmD, BCACP is a clinical associate professor and the Director of Skills Education at Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Binghamton NY. She completed a PGY-1 community pharmacy residency with Albertsons Companies and Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL and specializes in community practice at Wegmans Pharmacy in Johnson City NY. She co-coordinates a self-care therapeutics course and teaches reproductive health topics. She is the primary coordinator for several Skills Lab courses, including the first-year pharmacy skills lab, which focuses on self-care, OTC medications and communication. Sarah has a particular interest in advancing the role of the community pharmacist, including immunizations and hormonal contraceptive prescribing. She has published several papers in the areas of women’s health, pharmacist prescribed contraceptives, and the training of students and pharmacists.
