Amanda Eades, Pharm.D., BCACP, NCTTP
Amanda Eades, PharmD, BCACP, NCTTP is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Patient Care Skills Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy. Amanda is coordinator of skills lab courses which provide instruction on patient care skills such as physical assessment, dispensing, counseling, and documentation and introduce students to various drug delivery devices and proper drug administration. Prior to her position in academia, Amanda worked as an ambulatory care pharmacist in the Medication Therapy Management Clinic at the UI Health Outpatient Care Center. She continues to practice pharmacy as a clinical pharmacist in the UI Health Pulmonary Clinic. Her areas of interest include curricular review, assessment of student learning, asthma, and tobacco dependence. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Sullivan University in 2012 and completed a residency in Community Pharmacy at UIC.
