Brittney Cox, PharmD, MHA, BCPS serves as the Director for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences and an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Pharmacy (HSCCP). After receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from HSCCP in 2018, Dr. Cox completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency and a PGY-2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) residency with Baylor Scott & White Health. Prior to her current role in academia, Dr. Cox served as a pharmacy leader within a large not-for-profit health system.
Dr. Cox focuses her efforts on preparing students for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs) and supporting their success throughout their rotations. Additionally, she mentors students in an elective APPE specializing in academia. Dr. Cox also teaches within the Pharmacy Management and Drug Safety course, an area in which she is deeply passionate.
