Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Jenna Mills, PharmD, BCPS is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Findlay College of Pharmacy (UF CPHM). She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University in May 2018 and completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Lima Memorial Health System in June 2019. Dr. Mills is a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio and a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. She practices as a pharmacist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Dayton, Ohio, where she cares for patients receiving stroke, neurological, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
At the UF CPHM, Dr. Mills coordinates the team-taught self-care course and endocrinology module for the on-ground and distance pathways. She is an instructor in various courses for first, second, and third professional year students, and assisted in developing a residency preparation elective for fourth professional year students.
Since beginning her academic appointment at the UF CPHM, Dr. Mills has served on various AACP SCT/NM SIG, UF, and CPHM committees. Of note, she currently serves as the CPHM Faculty President, served as President of the West Central Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacy (WCOSHP), and co-coordinates the Residency Teaching and Learning Certificate Program at the UF CPHM. Her research interests include self-care and nonprescription medication use, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), pharmacy residency training, and inpatient pharmacy policy and procedure.
In her free time, Dr. Mills enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband (Kevin) and beagle (Bella).
