Natalie Rosario, PharmD, MPH, BCACP is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Pharmacy Practice and Translational Research at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. She attended the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and received her PharmD degree. She pursued a general PGY1 residency program in south Florida and then specialized with a PGY2 in Ambulatory Care in Colorado. Her clinical practice site is Vecino’s Denver Harbor Family Health Center, a federally qualified health center. She works under a collaborative practice agreement and is able to start, stop, or adjust the dose of medications for patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, anticoagulation, and tobacco cessation. Her areas of interest in pharmacy include addressing healthcare disparities, health equity, ethical decision making, chronic disease state management, and preparing students who are interested in pursuing pharmacy residency.
