Christopher W. Cunningham, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Science at Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. He earned his B.S. (cum laude) in Chemistry and Germanic Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore. He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Kansas in the Specialized Chemistry Center and Department of Medicinal Chemistry. His independent research concerns the design, synthesis, and pharmacologic evaluation of agents modulating opioid and cannabinoid neurotransmitter systems. He is an ad hoc member of the Concordia University Wisconsin Artificial Intelligence Task Force.
