Brianna McQuade Hudak, PharmD, BCACP, MHPE is a residency and fellowship trained clinical pharmacist and academician. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2013 with her PharmD. She completed her PGY1 in Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 in ambulatory care at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Upon completion of residency, she worked for a few years in the dermatology specialty space; first in a medical dermatology clinic and then as a medical science liaison for Pfizer. She came to the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2018 to complete the two-year Academic and Family Medicine Fellowship. In 2020, she transitioned to a clinical role in a family medicine clinic at a Federally Qualified Health Center, Mile Square Health Center. Her practice model was based on co-visits with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care with an emphasis on evidence-based pharmacotherapy. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the UIC COP and the Associate Director of Medicaid Services.
