Ashleigh Barrickman, PharmD, BCACP, CTTS is the Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs for the West Virginia University (WVU) School of Pharmacy and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy. She also serves as the Director of Pharmacy Simulation within the WVU Health Sciences Center. She is a graduate of the WVU School of Pharmacy and completed a Community Pharmacy Practice Residency with WVU School of Pharmacy and Waterfront Family Pharmacy in 2014. Dr. Barrickman is a clinical pharmacist at the Thought Disorder clinic at WVU Medicine’s Chestnut Ridge Center. Dr. Barrickman’s areas of interest in teaching and research include skills, OSCEs, psychiatric pharmacy, immunizations and diabetes management. She is an active member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Laboratory Instructors Special Interest Group. She has been awarded six Outstanding Teacher of the Year Awards since joining the WVU School of Pharmacy faculty in 2016.
