Beth Martin, RPh, PhD, FAPhA, is a Professor (CHS) and chair of the Pharmacy Practice and Translational Research Division and the Assistant Dean for Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Pharmacy where she has been on faculty since 1998. Dr. Martin has played a lead role in several research projects focused on creating and evaluating educational tools and self-efficacy scales, and patient-directed health communication educational programming. She has over 100 peer-reviewed research articles and abstracts, 7 book chapters, and provided over 130 conference presentations.
Beth's honors include being named the 2021 Pharmacy Alumni Association’s Alumnus of the Year, a Fellow of the American Pharmacists Association APRS section (2018), the UW-Teaching Academy Distinguished Teaching Award (2017), AACP Excellence in Assessment Award (2015), and the AACP Innovative Teaching Award (2001).
