Improvement of Pharm.D. Students’ Study Skills through the Development of an Inclusive Study Group Opportunity

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Implement an inclusive practice to assess their students' current membership and interest in joining study groups and provide connection opportunities for interested students to work together toward better study habits and increased course performance.
While all students may benefit from study groups, underserved and underrepresented groups have a lower participation rate in learning communities, such as peer study groups. With this fairly simple process, you can help your students improve their academic success. During this presentation, we will share our inclusive process for growing successful participation in inclusive study groups along with our results.
