Bio

Anjan Nan, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Pharmacy. Dr. Nan received his BS in Pharmacy from Jadavpur University, India in 1996, and PhD in Pharmaceutics from University of Mississippi in 2002. He was previously Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the co-director of the Center for Nanomedicine and Cellular Delivery, University of Maryland, Baltimore. He is currently Co-Principal Investigator of the R25 NIH-funded grant titled: Drug Discovery and Biomedical Research Training Program for Underserved Minority Youth. His background and academic research interest is in drug delivery and nanomedicine. He has received funding from the DOD, NSF and Maryland Industrial Partnerships to support his research.
