Assistant Dean for Assessment and Academic Planning

Beth Janetski is the Assistant Dean for Assessment and Academic Planning at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds a PhD in Educational Policy and Administration in Higher Education and an MFA in Theatrical Design both from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Janetski has worked at the Science Museum of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin-Stout, and University of Wisconsin-Madison as an evaluator, faculty member, policy analyst, and director of assessment. Dr. Janetski joined the School of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017.
Dr. Janetski’s research focuses on how management within the cultural and creative industries can inform policy and procedures in higher education administration. She is professionally interested in topics such as the management of creativity, arts integration in curricula, transdisciplinary research, workforce development, and design thinking for social innovation. Recent work has centered around using assessment to further equity and social justice in higher education.
