Ryan S. Ades, PharmD, BCPS is Director of IPPE and Experiential Curriculum at the Purdue University College of Pharmacy. He practices in the Purdue University Pharmacy, a community pharmacy that hosts an experiential course for first professional year pharmacy students. Dr. Ades is a member of the Experiential Learning Advisory Council for the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, serves as the Co-Chair of the Indiana Pharmacy Association’s Legislative & Regulatory Council, and President-Elect of the Indiana Pharmacy Association. He administrates a grant program for District IV of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy/American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy focused on driving meaningful, lasting change initiated by pharmacy students. His current teaching and scholarship focus on pharmacy law and expanding the provision of and reimbursement for pharmacist services through legislative advocacy, developing and leading immersive experiential opportunities for pharmacy students, and ensuring effective assessment of students conducting introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences.
