I am a pharmacist who has led the education, training and development of pharmacy practice academics, undergraduates, preceptor graduates, pharmacists and technicians for the last 20 years. At a strategic level my role at UCL is focused on ensuring we deliver a Pharmacy Practice course that is of quality, consistent, relevant to current and future practice and turns out graduates who will go on to deliver compassionate, clinical pharmacy to their patients.
I am interested in research and scholarship relating to all aspects of pharmacy education and training but in particular innovations in experiential learning and the use of simulation in teaching.
I am the Chair of the UK Pharmacy Schools Council’s Student Success Group where we have a strong focus on improving equality, diversity, and inclusion in pharmacy education.
