PharmD Candidate 2025
The University of Texas at Austin
Esther Albuquerque is a fourth-year pharmacy student at The University of Texas at Austin and an inaugural Aspiring Academic. She is heavily involved in Phi Delta Chi and ASHP and has been recognized on the local, state, and national level for her passion for the profession and leadership. Esther's love for academia encouraged her to pursue an Honors Research Project dedicated to identifying and cultivating factors that influence student pharmacist academic performance. Her results led her to explore Grit and Resilience to ultimately promote student well-being. As she begins rotations, Esther is excited to develop her clinical skills and knowledge in pursuit of residency. Inspired by the extraordinary professors at UT Austin, she hopes to be a clinical faculty in oncology or critical care. Her goal is to impact patients and students and develop the same love for pharmacy that she has.
