Ashley Yarabinec, PharmD, BCGP, is an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Experiential Learning at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She has extensive experience teaching student pharmacists in didactic and experiential settings and frequently incorporates cultural humility and social justice concepts into her teaching. Her scholarly work and area of expertise is in the development and implementation innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching within experiential health sciences curricula. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree, majoring in higher education and she also has specialized training from the Racial Equity Consciousness Institute. Dr. Yarabinec graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2011 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and completed post-graduate training in community pharmacy practice and ambulatory research at the University of Buffalo. She is board certified in the care of geriatric patients through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
