Dr. Wisneski currently serves as Vice Dean for the College of Graduate Studies (COGs) and Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Wisneski received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science, Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia, and Masters in Business Administration from Walsh University. Prior to his appointment to the college, he was the pharmacy manager at Summa Health System, Akron, OH. In the past Dr. Wisneski has held positions in clinical pharmacy, hospital pharmacy management, the pharmaceutical industry, and the military. He serves as administrative course director in the college of pharmacy’s administrative and practice management courses. His interests include health care delivery, history of pharmacy, and practice management. His current research involves assessing the causes and impact of opiate use during the early 19th century and its implications for the present day. Scott is an active member of many local, state, and national pharmacy organizations to include serving as Chair for the AACP History of Pharmacy SIG.
