Amanda Capino, PharmD is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Marshall University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Capino received her PharmD from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy, University of South Carolina Campus in 2014. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in 2014-2015 and a PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency in 2015-2016 at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. Beginning in 2016, Dr. Capino served as a faculty member at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. She was involved in coordinating/teaching multiple courses including the Pediatrics/Geriatrics Module and the Pediatrics Elective. In January 2024, Dr. Capino joined the Marshall University School of Pharmacy and is involved in teaching in the Special Populations Course. Dr. Capino is also involved in a number of national pharmacy associations. Within AACP, she served as the Secretary of Knowledge and Management of the Pediatric Pharmacy Special Interest Group (SIG) from 2021-2023 and has served as the Chair-Elect of the SIG this past year.
