Caroline Sierra, PharmD, BCPPS is an Associate Professor at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Dr. Sierra received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of New Mexico, after which she completed PGY1 Pharmacy and PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residencies at Loma Linda University Health. She practices in General Pediatrics as a Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital where she precepts students and residents. Dr. Sierra also coordinates the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and directs the PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency for Loma Linda University Health.
Dr. Sierra is actively involved in clinical research projects and has published abstracts and manuscripts in the education and training of student pharmacists and pharmacy residents. Dr. Sierra is actively involved in local, state, and national pharmacy organizations and has been an active member of AACP since becoming a faculty member, serving as a faculty delegate and on several task forces and committees. She is presently serving as the Secretary of Knowledge Management for the Pediatric Special Interest Group and is a member of the Aspiring Academics Advisory Committee.
