Dr Bickkie Solomon, PharmD, MBA – HM, BCSCP, CPEL, LSSGB is the Director of Pharmacy at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at West Coast University. She is a Board-Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist, Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader, high impact, results-driven, and innovative pharmacy/strategic business leader with > 12 years of broad experiences in inpatient, outpatient, mail order, specialty, and home infusion pharmacy, consulting, correctional health, and durable medical equipment fulfillment operations. She grew up in Australia where she obtained her Bachelor of Engineering and in the USA, she obtained her PharmD from The University of Texas and MBA - Healthcare Management from West Texas A & M University. Her past roles include Director of Pharmacy and Vice President of Pharmacy at established healthcare organizations such as HCA, Stanford Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Apria Healthcare, and Tuba City Regional Healthcare Corporation.
Dr. Solomon’s specialty is in leading healthcare and pharmacy operations, change management, process improvement, profit margin improvements, business acumens, business development, contract negotiation, personnel management, leadership, patient and medication safety, regulatory compliances, compounding, USP Chapters <795, 797, 800>, new service lines and roles expansions, and drug purchasing/distribution systems. She currently holds clear and active Registered Pharmacist (RPh) licenses in 10 states and is the founder of Stat Rx LLC, a consulting business.
